ASCA Exams on the 25th of this Month
22 Sep 1993On the 25th of this month, the sixth round of exams for the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) will begin, which will continue until September 27.
There will be over 100 students sitting for these exams from various Arab countries, in order to obtain the title of “Arab Certified Accountant”.
It is worth noting that the examinations will be held at the same time and dates in numerous Arab capitals and cities; these are Amman, Riyadh, Jeddah, Alkhobar, Manama, Muscat, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Cairo.
The exams will be held in two sessions; the morning and evening sessions. Students registered for the exams will sit for the following specialized professional subjects:
- Theoretical accounting
- Applicable accounting
- Auditing
- Companies and taxes law
- Financial administration
- English language
This is the first time that students sit for the exams in accordance with the new program for the society which was announced this year. It is expected that the results of these exams will be declared one month after they are held.
Also, on the third of October, a seminar entitled “Accounting Education and Qualification” organized by ASCA in collaboration with the Omani Chamber of Industry and Commerce, will be held. The convention of this seminar coincides with the society’s 10th founding conference.
