AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has announced the finalization of preliminary procedures for establishing integrated facilities in the Jordan Industrial Estates of Madaba Governorate to support TAG.Global’s programs including Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech) for manufacturing and producing technological devices that meet the highest international and regional standards.

This announcement follows TAG.Global’s acquirement of the Land Deed at the designated industrial area, while the specialized engineering teams have started preparing the necessary plans for establishing the facilities.

On this occasion, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that the establishment of the project comes in line with the Royal directives and guidance that aim at enhancing investments and stimulating economic growth, as well as supporting Dr. Jafar Hassan’s call to prioritize investment and development.

It is worth mentioning that the project is an important TAG.Global’s investment in the field of technology and industry, in line with the royal vision to enhancing digital transformation and industrial innovation, and contributes to building an integrated industrial ecosystem that boosts Jordan’s global competitiveness.

“The decision to expand our businesses represents TAG.Global’s unwavering commitment to effectively and positively serve Jordan, as our vision extends to creating a brighter future and a more prosperous economy,” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said, adding that the project will serve as a hub for innovation and development, rather than a production facility.

He further affirmed that the project will provide young Jordanian talents with opportunities to innovate and effectively contribute to building the economy of the future, by facilitating the young Jordanians’ engagement in advanced technological industries in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan’s government to establish a National Council for Future Technology that aims at reinforcing Jordan's standing as a technologically advanced country.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh drew attention to the TAG.Global’s leadership in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field; that dates back to 1965 when Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh started his first steps in this field; a legacy and achievements that led to electing Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh as the Chair of the United Nations ICT Task Force in 2001, underscoring TAG.Global’s status as a globally recognized institution with deep Jordanian roots and an unwavering dedication to advancing a promising national vision.
