Abu-Ghazaleh meets Arab Union of Surveyors delegation.
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) met with a delegation representing the Arab Union of Surveyors (AUS) in Beirut.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and Dr. Sarkis Fadous, President of the Arab Union of Surveyors discussed several key issues including AUS joining the Union of the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States, the possibility of holding a conference in Beirut on the demarcation of Arab countries and map of the unified Arab world, the formation of an advisory committee of experts from the AUS to contribute to the demarcation of the different types of land, sea and air and provide consultation to decision makers in the Arab world in addition to unifying the geographical names in the Arab world and launching an electronic Atlas.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that the website development department at TAG-Org is ready to develop AUS website according to the latest standards.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Fadous presented AUS Shield to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his efforts and initiatives in the Arab countries and the world.
Headquartered in Beirut, the AUS aims to ameliorate the level of the profession of surveying in the Arab world and reach a common system and structure for this profession in the Arab world as also to develop the cadastral systems for improving the land management and real estate investment as an important part of the socio-economical development in the Arab countries

HE Abu-Ghazaleh expressed TAG-Org’s readiness to provide the logistic, professional and technical support to Iqtisaduna
HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) received a delegation representing Iqtisaduna (Our Economics) to develop Promising Societies Organization at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Graduate School of Business.
The delegation included Mr. Rasmi Al Mallah, Mr. Munther Al Zumaili, Mr. Tawfiq Abu Dabsheh, Mr. Haitham Al Noubani, and Mr. Hatem Al Khateeb in the presence of a number of TAG-Org managers.
During their visit, the delegation presented a brief about the accomplishments achieved since the founding meeting of the Organization that was held early this month in Beirut; where a micro-committee was established of the Organization’s Board members to set up the upcoming three-year strategy to be discussed at the Board’s meeting scheduled to take place in Kuwait next month.
The delegation stated that the Organization has bought a hospital in Saida, Lebanon, and the surrounding areas, and work is undergoing for rehabilitation and development to serve the Palestinian refugees and members of the Organization. In addition, work is currently under process to establish a university in Saida and another one in Jordan.
Moreover, Iqtisaduna is working to be licensed in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Switzerland after being registered in London while the regional headquarters will be in Kuwait.
From his part, HE Abu-Ghazaleh expressed TAG-Org’s readiness to provide the logistic, professional and technical support to Iqtisaduna including a revision of its studies and projects in order to be professionally issued in addition to auditing Iqtisaduna’s accounts, and providing it with the required e-programs to teach the camp refugees electronically with special focus on training and continuous training programs while helping them find job vacancies.
At the end of their visit, the delegation extended their gratitude to HE Abu-Ghazaleh for his patronage and attendance of the founding meeting in Beirut and highly commended his initiatives to support non-profit Palestinian and Arab organizations.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Launches Comprehensive Strategy.
Under the slogan "Change To The Clouds"

Entitled "Change to the Clouds", Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) held a bi-annual meeting to set up a future comprehensive strategy targeting the Organization's businesses, activities and services at all levels under one theme "Moving Up to the Clouds".
At the opening session of the two-day meeting, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org chairman and CEO, stressed that the Organization is embracing a new era that is characterized with more innovation, high-tech and quality initiatives mainly in education.
"Today is the day of change in our performance, services and mission. It's our duty to initiate a 20-year plan for this Organization to become the leading organization in our fields of expertise worldwide similar to Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) which became the first ranking company in its quality services," HE Abu-Ghazaleh addressed the attendees.
More than 200 executive directors, heads of departments and senior professionals representing TAG-Org's offices from around the world attended the meeting in addition to distinguished guests who enriched discussions during the venue.
"We have all elements of success to be ahead of others as we have more than 40 years of experience since the establishment of the Organization back in 1972. Our Group has skilled and qualified figures who can lead change at all levels."
HE Abu-Ghazaleh stated that one of the principal plans for the coming years is to expand all the Organization's activities and businesses geographically to new territories mainly to Africa, East Europe, Latin America and Asia among others.
He also highlighted the Organization's drive towards the utilization of Cloud Computing which basically depends on data transfer and archiving ending up in having TAG-Org's own cloud and to become the first provider of such a service.
Moreover, HE Abu-Ghazaleh announced preparations to launch a Corporate Global Virtual Innovation University under the name "The University of TAG"; This academic institution will virtually offer education and training courses in the field of business to public and private sectors on the Arab world's level utilizing programs presented at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Graduate School of Business (TAGSB).
"The University will be distinctive in terms of its educational level, disciplines, languages in addition to the provision of a research center with special focus on business consultancy," he added.
Abu-Ghazaleh addressed several professional initiatives launched by the Organization in the past along with other new ones to be introduced including: TAGIPEDIA, the specialized Arab content encyclopedia, the launch of the second edition of TAGITOP, the establishment of a research center at TAGSB, the launch of the TAG Concerto FM classical music radio station; and the establishment of a specialized corporate governance institute.
Moreover, the Organization in cooperation with the League of Arab States is preparing for the organization of the Youth Summit to be held in Morocco next May.
